Stickeepals' concept popped in our heads early 2022, during a meeting with a store where we were talking about the best selling themes toys, like dinosaurs, unicorn, space, princesses and knights. Everything was blue or pink, gendered. We realized, by looking at it closely, that most company used a generic face to represent all of the ethnicities, only changing the skin color on each design.
This wasn't reality. We were so much different than that!
After some research, we found out that less than 20% of the diversity (ethnic, gender, physical and mental disabilities, body differences, etc.) was represented in everyday life.
We decided to use our strengths to launch a unique product in the area where we were already used to work: the kids industry. As stickers are found in every home, inexpensive, funny and educational, we thought that they were perfect for our mission: include, represent and normalize the uniqueness of each individual.
Because different is COOL!
So here we are, introducing you to our very first collection, hoping you'll join the movement and change the world one sticker at the time 🌈⭐️💙
